A New Approach to Building

While environmentally friendly building has a reputation for being more expensive than traditional construction, this does not have to be the case.  By thinking outside the box and incorporating effective systems into our business and building practices Green Culture Contracting is able to apply sustainable building techniques at a very competitive price.

From gas to garbage we work to reduce our waste as well as our carbon footprint.  We accomplish this through daily project plans that help reduce the number of trips to and from the job site, and by  sorting all project waste to maximize the amount of material that can be recycled.

From the initial design of a project to the materials used, we take advantage of the latest information available on green building techniques and materials to help our clients stay green and within budget.

Customer Focused, Environmentally Conscious

A strong focus on the customer and proper stewardship of the environment were the principles that David Schwendiman had in mind when he started Green Culture Contracting.  After graduating from Oregon State University with his second bachelors degree, David decided to pursue his love of building.  With a professional background in customer service and growing up in the Northwest David was shocked to see the disregard many contractors had for both their customers and their surroundings.  He saw a market for a construction company that not only did great work, but also took care of its clients and its community.
